Linux & KVM
A Linux-based virtualization platform for running virtual machines with their own operating systems and application environments.
FIRST SERVER
Linux KVM virtualization, virtual machines and cloud resources deployed on servers in modern datacenters around the world.
FIRST SERVER provides virtualization services and virtual machines for websites, applications, development environments and business systems. Our cloud infrastructure uses KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine), the virtualization technology integrated into Linux, to run separate virtual machines on physical server hardware.
Each virtual machine has its own guest operating system and allocated compute, memory, storage and network resources. Hardware-assisted virtualization provides a practical foundation for independent workloads. Available operating systems, resource allocation and performance depend on the selected plan and host configuration.

CPU, memory, storage and connectivity are allocated according to the service configuration. Resource changes depend on host capacity and contractual specifications.
Our virtual infrastructure runs on physical servers in modern datacenter environments, with specifications defined for each service.
Global footprint
Choose a location on the map or from the list. City markers show approximate locations, not facility addresses.
Map outlines: Natural Earth, public domain. Locations are indicative.
Our cloud infrastructure is located in Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Sofia, Fujairah, Singapore, Tokyo and São Paulo. These locations support geographically distributed application workloads. Capacity, network options, management and backup services vary by location and configuration.
Data-location and processing arrangements are defined for each service. A selected server location alone does not define every support, backup or international data-transfer arrangement; these should be agreed for the service.
For protection options, see Network Infrastructure. For dedicated servers and colocation in the EU, see Datacenter Services.
